The Garden

How a plant leaves the nursery

No forcing, no artificial stretch. Just soil, sun, and a little patience.

i.

The potting bench

We start our plants in proper soil right here at the nursery. The pots are topped with a layer of fine mulch to keep the soil moist and the roots cool during our warm Covington summers.

ii.

The outdoor growing

Every plant spends its life outdoors in our nursery yard before it's sold. The plants acclimatise to the local wind and the Washington sun, so they don't sulk when you take them home.

iii.

Pickup at the yard

We only release a plant when it's in full flower. You don't buy a promise from us — you pick up a plant that is blooming right now, ready to set on your patio this afternoon.

"I bought a potted geranium from Green Leaf Nursery and set it on the brick step by my front door. It looked like it had always been there. Three months later, it's still blooming. It completely transformed the entrance to my house."
